Get ready for Global Intergenerational Week!

From 24-30 April this year, Global Intergenerational Week aims to bring together people of all ages to form vital, lasting relationships and help make the world a better place. When people of different age groups connect through shared activities, they strengthen their relationships, develop empathy and reduce feelings of loneliness. Intergenerational connection is also a way for both older and younger people to learn new skills and hobbies.

To celebrate this week, why not explore the Live Well Together toolkit? Campaign for Learning has created this toolkit in partnership with The Open University, the University of Bedfordshire and the Hallmark Foundation. The Live Well Together: activities for health and happiness across generations toolkit contains a range of resources to help people to lead healthier and happier lives.

The toolkit has fun and inspiring activities, games and ideas that are grouped into five different areas - eat, drink, move, engage and connect and think (based on the Five Pillars for Aging Well from The Open University).

If you are looking to celebrate Global Intergenerational Week in your community, explore the Live Well Together toolkit, which can be downloaded here, from the members resources page.
